CoolerSolar is a stainless steel swamp cooler that runs all day on its own solar cart and into the night on battery. Plug it in when you want to. Never rusts. Backed by real people in the US.
Shop the 3 sizesSee the guaranteeEvery model is a two-cart system: the cooler, and a solar cart that carries the panel, battery and charger. Both roll. Both are 304 stainless.
Prices in USD, free shipping in the lower 48. Cooler cart sold separately for customers who already have 24 V solar.
If the shell, frame, grille or water drawer rusts, cracks or fails in normal use within five years, we replace it. Stainless is the reason we can say that.
Motor, pump, controller, charge controller, battery and panel are covered for two years. We ship the part; most swap with four screws.
Run it in your own heat for a month. If it isn't the coolest spot on the block, send it back for a full refund. We pay the return freight.
Registered at coolersolar.com/register. Warranty transfers with the unit if you sell it. Wear items (cooling pads, casters) excluded.
Evaporative cooling uses water, not refrigerant. Most of the electricity just moves air, which is why a single solar panel can run it all day.
The panel on the solar cart makes 24 V (12 V on the Mini) electricity from about 6 am to 7 pm.
A charge controller fills the lithium battery and keeps it from overcharging.
A brushless motor pulls hot, dry air through three water-soaked pads.
Water evaporates and takes the heat with it. Air leaves 10 to 25 °F cooler.
Evaporative coolers shine where the air is dry: Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, inland California, West Texas. In those climates a 5,400 CFM unit will drop a garage 20 °F or more. In humid regions it works as a powerful fan with a mild cooling effect.
The panel wants sun. You want shade. A 15-foot cable lets the cooler sit where you work while the panel sits in the yard. Roll the cooler inside at night and it keeps running on the battery.

Pads, pumps, motors, controllers and batteries stocked in the US. Most parts ship same day and swap in under 15 minutes with a screwdriver.
Unbox both carts, fill the drawer, tilt the panel toward the sun, plug in one cable. A printed quick-start is in the box; the video is at coolersolar.com/start.
Fresh pads shipped every spring for $[XX]/yr. Cancel any time. Clean pads mean cold air and a motor that isn't working overtime.
Ten units or more, or outfitting a crew? We do volume pricing, extended warranty and on-site setup.
Every fastener is standard, every panel bolts off, every wire is labeled. When something wears out, you fix it, you don't replace the whole unit.
Yes, in sun. The panel is sized to run the fan at full speed through a summer day, with the battery covering clouds, early morning and about 3 to 5 hours after sunset. If you want it on all night, plug in the included wall adapter.
Roughly 2 to 4 gallons an hour on the 54 in dry heat, less on the smaller units. Hook up a garden hose to the auto-fill port and forget about it.
It cools best under about 50% humidity. Above that it's still a strong fan with some cooling, but if you're in Houston or Florida, an air conditioner will serve you better.
Yes. The cooler cart has a standard 24 V DC inlet (12 V on the Mini) and a wall adapter. Any 24 V battery or solar system with the right connector will run it.
Lithium iron phosphate, the safe, long-life chemistry. Rated for 3,000+ charge cycles, which is 10 or more summers.
Plastic coolers go brittle and chalky in sun and water within a few seasons. Stainless doesn't. It's also why we can offer a five-year warranty on the body.
Designed in California. Fabricated and assembled at our own stainless factory. Warehoused, supported and serviced in the United States.
